Super Fans and Big Fans Process

Creating the initial excitement is critical for your success. A process we are recommending is:

  1. Start with a handful of your initial advocates (Super Fans) and get them to download the app.

  2. Ask them to give you the contact info for 5 or 10 people they think will be excited to be advocates (Big Fans).  Make sure the Super Fans have these people as contacts on their phone.

  3. Create a CSV file (you have the format from the initial data upload) of these potential big fans to upload into the campaign hub as voters with a tag like “Big Fans”

  4. Upload and create a target audience of the “Big Fans” (you can create the target audience and upload the csv file at the same time)

  5. Create messages that will get the “Big Fans” excited about being an advocate for your campaign.

  6. The system will match that target audience with the “Big Fans” on the “Super Fans” phone.

  7. Make sure your Super Fans send the messages to Big Fans so they can see how it works and they get excited to help.

  8. Your initial advocates (SuperFans) can send this message to others in their phone as well. 

Beyond your initial core team of Super Fans and extended group of activist Big Fans, your marketing of the SwipeRed download can extend to district delegates, conservative groups, and friends and family.
